my first post in our new house.

I'm sitting in my living room, writing, for the first time since we moved. I can't remember the last time I opened my laptop. I just put N to bed and I'm putting together my to do list for tomorrow. Every room is unpacked but the crafting/playroom and my Pyrex is still sitting in boxes, waiting to be cleaned and arranged. Truth be told, the latter is my motivation to get everything else done. *smile*

I could tell you all about everything that went wrong during our move and with our new place - and that would take up an entire post - but I just want to focus on is the happy. To put it in twitter terms, everything we dealt with were #firstworldproblems. Everything has been fixed and we are happily settling in.

We have been blessed with a three bedroom long term rental home that was built in the early 1950s but completely renovated earlier this year. It has the charm, the hardwood floors, and the quirks that I love and the modern appliances that the hubs was looking for. I promise - there will be a home tour once everything is decorated and my DIY projects are finished.
