the secret closet.

If you were a Friends fanatic like me, you have to remember that hilarious episode where Chandler discovers Monica's secret closet. This closet was where this type A and hyper organized idol of mine hid her junk and her disorganization. When Chandler finally opens it, he gleefully tells her "you're messy."

Well, I have a confession to make. While I love to have everything in its place and my label maker is my best friend, I also have a stash of stuff. I'm a secret messy person, too. My daughter's bedroom closet is my secret closet:

It's scary to admit that this even exists in a place where I live. Since moving to my parent's house and Christmas coincided, N's closet has become a disaster zone and dumping ground for diapers, toys, and other random little things that she likes to collect. Getting organized while simplifying is one of my unspoken personal New Year's goals so, clearly, this situation had to be remedied.

Enter this fabulous wire cart and coordinating shelf liners from Trinity:

This was the perfect solution to her closet disorganization. The sturdiness of the cart coupled with the ability to put little stuff on the wire shelving without it falling through ... well, let's just say I might have giggled and squealed after putting this together. Everything is easily accessible for her, too, which is important!

Look at how fabulous and well organized everything looks now:

This organizational solution will transition well into our new place, too. I couldn't be happier with the results of this little New Year's project!

You can get organized, too! Trinity offers free shipping on all orders in the lower 48 states. If you live in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Canada, simply email them to request a shipping quote! My readers can save 15% off their entire purchase through February 17, 2013 by using the promo code CLEVER0113. How fantastic is that?

Happy organizing!

My office closet is my messy closet. Every 6 months or so I go through and purge but it still needs help. That shelf looks super awesome!

As soon as I saw the title of your post, I thought of that same Friends episode! Too funny. The closet looks great!

Ooh, I love the shelf liners. I could use some of those. It's a great idea to put a cart in a kid's closet so you can pull it out to play and pick up. Good organizing!

Isn't it amazing how helpful just one new things can be?

I was laughing while scrolling through the pictures- we have that Thomas pillow, and that car carrier, and that doctor kit, and that big bucket of trains!

Looks great Tricia! And it's comforting to hear you are not *always* completely neat and organized ;)
