shades.

Even though it's cold here in Chicagoland and the sun isn't out every day, I still have to wear sunglasses. I once heard that blue-eyed people have to wear sunglasses because of their lighter eyes but I don't know if there's truth to that. All I know is that even when it's cloudy out, I have to wear shades or it feels like I'm going blind.

{this is an older photo but I couldn't resist it}

With a toddler who likes to play, a brain that only functions properly about half the time, and a knack for changing purses frequently, I have lost or broken a lot of sunglasses. Yet, I have managed to hold onto this one pair for at least a year even though they're covered in little fingerprints and scratches. I call that a victory for this shades-wearing mama!

Do you need a new pair of sunglasses, with springtime around the corner or maybe a beach vacation on the calendar? Perhaps a pair of designer sunglasses, Ray-Ban sunglasses, or my hubs' favorite, Oakley sunglasses

I'm in the market for a new pair and would love to see what you love.

I am a loser and a breaker too, and it's amazing when I pair lasts awhile. I generally go for whatever is on sale, or I get the at Marshall's or TJMaxx. My latest pair is from Kohl's on clearance for $4, so I won't mind (too much) if something happens to them.

I usually only buy them at Target-- but we splurged on vacation, and now I have a gorgeous pair of Coach sunglasses. LOVE.

My bestie loves sunglasses too. She always has them on when going places. But she's not blue eyes. Maybe it's just how you roll :)

I wish I could wear them - but I haven't found fancy sunglasses that are prescription. Other wise I'd be down with that!

I love the way sunglasses look, and I am in bad need of a prescription pair! I don't have any at all right now because I am short on the moolah to but said prescription sunnies, and sometimes I feel the burn. Cue me: "I'm melting, I'm melting!"
