The last two months have felt like a complete whirlwind.
From deciding to do something a little crazy, like move to Chicago, to being a long distance family for a bit while the hubs finished up things in Maryland ... well, our heads are spinning. Since we live with family right now, we do get the huge blessing of regular date nights but it's just not the same as time away.
Well, due to the generosity of my parents, we are going away for a night, just the two of us! To say I'm excited is an understatement. We're dining at a cozy lodge restaurant for dinner, staying in a five star hotel, and I am even attending a yoga class the next morning at a beautiful yoga studio. We can't wait!
I know I'm strange when I say this but I love packing. Maybe it's the type A organizational weirdo that I am but I love planning out what I'm going to wear since it's normally a little bit nicer than my normal mom attire.

Such gorgeous pieces! I'm so happy for you that you get to get away for a night. Where are you going?! Matt & I need to get away, soon. It's hard w/out family here to watch the kids. But, we're fortunate to have some friends who've offered to take the kids overnight if we need them to. Hope you two have a wonderful little night away!!
