So, it's been awhile since I've done a fashion or What I Wore Wednesday post. Oops. Trust me when I say that yoga pants, t-shirts, and Crocs do not a fashion blog post make. Also, I realize that this Instagram photo of my outfit isn't fancy but my nice camera is packed so forgive me?
This jacket is what I like to call an investment piece. You see, we've been minimalizing and downsizing because of our upcoming move. So much so, that I've been scouring clearance sections and Instagram shops for cute pieces that are very affordable to replace the items we've sold or donated. When it comes to things like jackets and blazers, though, I don't mind spending a little bit more than my normal cheap budget.
In other news, I like that this dress has a bohemian feel because, really, I am just a hippie at heart. I know you probably don't believe me, with my straightened hair, super matchy matchy accessories, and seemingly conservative exterior, but I really am wearing dreads, have my nose pierced, and love Phish ... on the inside. *wink*
Also, my HUGE sale is still happening in my shop - use ILOVEMOVING for 30% off my ready to ship items! The sale will end Friday at midnight and my shop will be on vacation for two weeks, starting Saturday.

Haha, I love the inner hippie! And those other Phish fans are fake, too! Last Phish concert we went to, my husband was all "it's so funny watching the trust fund hippies drive up in their BMWs and then letting loose and pretending they aren't going back to their corporate jobs tomorrow!"...to which I reminded him "we drove to this concert in your BMW and had to park reeeaaalllly far away so we'd have an easy time getting out of the lot and be able to get plenty of rest before your early meeting tomorrow. Maybe you should go a little easy on those other fake hippies." We all have a little of that in us. :) And I totally agree on investment pieces. I still have some things I bought in high school or college that were timeless and high quality enough to make it all the way to 2012.

You're adorable! One of my favorite things in the whole world is a jean jacket. i feel like it gives any outfit an edgier feel without being over the top. The tunic is great, too!
