Tell us about yourself!
I am Kendra and I blog at A Proverbs 31 Wife. I chose the name for
two reasons, I wanted my blog to be a domestic/housewife style blog and
the passage in Proverbs 31 always inspired me. I am very creative
and can sew just about anything, whether I do or not is another story
because there are so many other things I like to do as well. Such as
cooking, recipes any-one? Or making cards, or just making things. On Wednesdays I try to post something from the Word, usually I have a
photo that inspires the post, but sometimes it's a story, or something
that happened the past week. You get the idea.
Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging in March of this year, so I am still a
baby-blogger. But I started blogging because my aunt had blogged for
years and at Christmas time she was talking to me about it. It got me
to thinking that perhaps I should start blogging. I used to
write all the time when I was a kid and young teen. As I got older and
got married, I completely quit. Now, I am enjoying writing again.
What is one thing you've learned since starting your blog?
Probably the neatest thing I have learned is this: there are blogs
I started following right after I started blogging, some of those blogs
have ended up being really important to me. Maybe I should say it's the
writers of the blogs that have meant so much to me. Some of these
lovely gals are just amazing and I wish we lived closer, we would so be
IRL friends.
What is your favorite post that you've written?
What are three of your most quirky or unique qualities?
I hate having my feet covered up, when I'm in bed I always have to put them on top of the covers. I may be just a little bit OCD when it comes to organizing. We have a
small home, and if things are not in the right place it drives me crazy!
(short drive by the way!) Kids love me. Not trying to brag, but I have never met a kid that didn't love me.
I say cake, you think of ...?
The totally awesome wedding cakes my MIL makes! I never liked wedding
cake until she made the cake for our wedding. Not to mention, her icing
is the only kind I will eat, and I eat it too!
