I'd like to tell you a funny story about how I met (and stalked) Lauren of Whimsy Lane. *wink* But, first let's hear about this creative mama!
Meet ...
In her own words ...
Hello!
My name is Lauren and I am the chick behind Whimsy Lane! In August of 2010 I bought a sewing machine on a whim during a regular day of shopping. I had never used one before but fabric CALLED to me and I just had to find a way to use it. So armed with my new Singer Curvy and lots of online tutorials, I taught myself how to sew. By January 1, 2011, I opened up shop!
In that short time I've been lucky enough to be featured in Pregnancy & Newborn magazine and Brides.com, among others. I make bags, pouches and other fun accessories using modern fabrics in punchy colors and prints. I like making things that quench our thirst for color without having to take any huge risks - you might not feel comfortable wearing a lime green polkadot skirt with a bright pink top and orange heels, but your bag can TOTALLY rock that combo and still be normal, right?

When I'm not working my day job or chasing my 3 year old son Sam around, I like to sew. And although I have an adorable studio with two long desks, I prefer to sew at a rickety old blue card table smack dab in the middle of my living room because sometimes annoying your husband can be a fun hobby all in itself.
I've taken some time off recently to revamp my stuff and changed some things around, so I'm so happy to be doing my relaunch with Tricia! Isn't she great? Thank you so much for being a part of this little journey with me!
Now, about my stalking ...
So, months and months ago, I clicked on Lauren's button in Leilani's sidebar and found out that she is super talented and makes some super cute products. Fast forward to last month and this mama's brain remembered how adorable her shop was. I searched and searched and FINALLY found her shop ... and it was closed. After much stalking, I discovered that Lauren was working on NEW products and would be reopening her shop this month.
I couldn't wait that long.
I tweeted, Facebooked, and emailed that lovely lady to see if I could buy something because this mama has no patience. And after being totally freaked out (not really, I hope), she reopened her shop JUST FOR ME and let me buy whatever I wanted. How amazing that that?! We became bloggy friends and when I opened my Whimsy Lane package, there was this clutch from her new line for me to review tucked inside! How sweet is she?!
I love this clutch and use it for coupons, metro cards, a pen, and all of the other random things I need to have in my purse. I will probably use this sweet little clutch on my next date night with the hubs. It is so well made!
Lauren has just reopened her shop AND she's offering a giveaway on her blog!

Very cute things! Thanks for the heads up!
Isn't her stuff just darling?! I'd get something, but I can't decide yet haha.
That clutch is fabulous! Love the fabric!
What a story. I had a similar story with sewing but it didn't turn out so well. I am always impressed with others that can sew.
For me I will just stick to nail art.
Cute bag BTW and thanks for telling me about Lauren!!!
Sincerely

TRICIA! Thank you ever so much! You are amazing and possibly the sweetest mama in the blogisphere!
I am so honored you are featuring me!
