Tell us about yourself!
Hi, I'm Kirtley and I blog at Snowdrift Designs. I'm an Indiana girl living in Kansas. I'm a momma to a little girl, a wife to a soldier, and a full-time student. The shop is full of all things I love that I want to share with all of you. My blog is where I share parts of our life. You can always expect to see how I view life, our marriage, the Army, my husband who is in Afghanistan, and our faith. And pieces of what insprires me, projects, and what I am loving at the moment. I hope you stop by and say hi!
Why did you start blogging and open your shop?
When my husband and I got married I moved 18 hours away from all of our family and friends to be with him where he was stationed and I was 7 months pregnant. I started blogging just to keep in touch with family and friends. When I started I had no idea about the blogging community. After I had my daughter I started making her things. I wanted to be able to share all the things I was making with everyone else.

What is one thing that you're really passionate about?
What is one thing that few people know about you?
My husband and I have many mutual friends but we really met and started talking online. He was in Utah with the National Guard and I was in Indiana going to school. We never met until a few months after we were talking and he was getting ready to move to Louisiana with the Army.
