I surprised the hubs with a date night to see The Avengers on Friday night and I have to tell you ... IT ROCKED. Even for this semi-nerdy mama who has only seen the Iron Man movies, I was blown away with the special effects, dialog, and plot. Wives, if your hubby says he wants to go, go with him. The only negative thing? The eternal line we had to wait in, just to get seats in the theater. That first photo up there is our attempt at Hulk/angry faces. *wink*
Also on the agenda this past weekend was a mini road trip to Sonic, another surprise from me. I think I racked up major wife points. *wink* I also spent many minutes trying to get my fancy nails just right. I haven't had fancy nails in a long time and I love them. I was inspired by this nail tutorial by Lisa of Lisa from Scratch but I just couldn't get it right so I opted for a diagonal stripe instead.
One last thing - the winner of the Krafty Kash giveaway is Chelsea A.! Congrats, girl!

Your nails are cute! We opted to go to a smaller theatre since it's near my MIL's (free babysitting!) and we didn't have ANY wait nor was the theatre full. It was almost as awesome as the movie itself.
