what happened?

Where did February go?
Apparently, I blinked and twenty-nine days flashed by without my knowledge. We're on the eve of March and I'm flabbergasted. There are so many amazing things happening in this month ahead of me but all I can do is eat Cadbury eggs and dye my hair.

So, what's ahead? Well, the first wonderful event is N's second birthday. It's on Friday and instead of the huge hoopla we had last year for her first birthday (which was so fun but, admittedly, exhausting), we're keeping things small and focused on our little family. We're headed to the aquarium for the day and her personalized fishy birthday shirt is hanging in her closet, all ready to be worn by our cute girl. *smile*

Next up? Creative Estates. I AM SO EXCITED! Four days of hanging out with incredible bloggers and crafty ladies? Yes, please! I need to pack, fill up that lovely blog bag up there with my Kindle & snacks for the plane, and find an outfit for the Rockstar Party. Any sparkly suggestions? 
After that, we're traveling to my grandma's house for a quick visit and to pick up our new (to us) car! WOOT! We're turning in our "Beltway beater" for a nicely used Honda. I cannot wait to take a trip to CarMax and turn in the keys to my old jalopy! 
Towards the end of the month, my best friend (known as "roommate" from our college days) is coming for an extended visit and I CANNOT WAIT! It's been way too long since we've seen each other and a visit is SO needed. *squeal*
A full month? Absolutely. Am I a little overwhelmed? Yeah. Am I excited? SO MUCH.
March is going to rock.
